The Cher Show musical will tell the story of Cher's early life and her rise to fame. The jukebox musical will feature some of Cher's hit songs like "I Got You Babe", "Believe", "If I Could Turn Back Time" and more. The musical will be divided into three different stages of Cher's fascinating life (Babe, Lady, Star), played by three different actresses. Jason Moore will direct The Cher Show.
Chicago 1996-10-23 2020-01-01 Chicago tells the tale of two female murderers, Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, that rise to fame as a result of their alleged crimes. Roxie wants to avoid incarceration after killing the man she was in an adulterous relationship with, but also wishes to maintain her new-found celebrity status. The musical is performed almost entirely in a Vaudeville style, and makes use of minimalistic set designs and costumes. Chicago initially premiered on Broadway in 1975 and the current Broadway revival premiered in 1996, which is now housed at the Ambassador Theater. The 1996 revival has won seven Tony Awards.
