Now You See Me Live brings the mysterious Four Horsemen to the stage for a fast-paced evening of magic, deception and spectacle. Four world-class illusionists demonstrate different specialties, including sleight of hand, mentalism, escapes and large-scale illusions, while challenging audiences to determine what is real and what is misdirection.

Inspired by the Now You See Me films, the production combines theatrical storytelling with live magic and audience participation. Spectators become part of elaborate tricks as the Horsemen manipulate perception, reveal seemingly impossible information and execute increasingly ambitious illusions, building toward a surprising finale.

From Screen to Stage

Now You See Me Live transforms Lionsgate’s popular Now You See Me film franchise into a theatrical magic spectacle. Rather than recreating the movies, the production introduces four new Horsemen, played by internationally recognized illusionists. The show combines large-scale illusions, close-up magic, mentalism, technology and audience participation while retaining the franchise’s themes of deception, mystery and elaborate tricks.

Creative Development

The production was created by producers Simon Painter and Tim Lawson, whose backgrounds include large-scale touring entertainment and illusion shows. Painter co-created the production with magician Adam Trent, with Ash Jacks McCready directing. The creative team designed the show to function as both a theatrical story and a genuine live magic performance.

Road to Broadway

Now You See Me Live was developed as an international stage property before its Broadway arrival. Following its London engagement, the production announced plans for Broadway, bringing the Now You See Me brand and its Four Horsemen concept to New York audiences.
