What's The Queen of Versailles Like?

The musical follows billionaire couple David and Jackie Siegel as they embark on building their dream mansion, modeled after the Palace of Versailles, amidst the 2008 financial crisis.

Initially, the Siegels live a life of opulence, with David's successful timeshare business and Jackie's extravagant spending fueling their luxurious lifestyle. However, as the 2007-2008 economic downturn hits, their fortunes take a drastic turn, leading to financial struggles and the halting of their mansion's construction.

The show explores themes of wealth, consumerism, and the fragility of the American Dream, offering a revealing look into the lives of the ultra-wealthy and the consequences of unchecked ambition.
