In order to nurture a younger generation of theatergoers, many Broadway shows offer affordable tickets to students. Known as Student Rush tickets, these discount tickets are usually $20-$30 each. A student ID is always required to purchase Student Rush tickets, but many Broadway shows allow you to buy two tickets with just one ID. Some theater box offices require that Student Rush tickets be paid for in cash, so arrive prepared.

Like Anyone Rush, the policies for Student Rush tickets vary among Broadway shows. Usually the box offices begin distributing these student tickets when they first open in the morning, but some shows don't start selling them until a few hours before the performance begins.
