The musical is drawn from the 2014 Amazon award-winning original series “Transparent” which ran for five seasons and 41 episodes and starred Broadway alums Jeffrey Tambor, Kathryn Hahn, Alexandra Billings and two-time Tony winner Judith Light.

World Premiere at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles

Tipping its hat to the LA scene, Transparent was the first stage play to come out of Amazon Studios. The show premiered in Los Angeles at the Mark Taper Forum in May 2023 and ran to the end of June 2023.

This show is appropriate for individuals over the age of 16 years.

While overall an incredibly positive story of community and family, this production contains brief depictions of violence, sexual themes, strong language, and brief depictions of drug experimentation.
