50-year-old Wheeler finds himself newly divorced and in the midst of his own mid-life downward spiral. After moving of his ex-wife's couch, he finally finds a place of his own and he takes a journey to try rediscover who he really is, or was. Wheeler has to learn how to date again, find a way to have a relationship with the old friends he ditched long ago and how to invest emotionally with a potential new love. Full of life's potential, Wheeler is forced to manage the dreadful man that he has become over the years, with the man he ultimately wants to be.
