High on Broadway
Kathleen Turner (Romancing the Stone, Who Framed Roger Rabbit) is back on Broadway in the hard-hitting new Matthew Lombardo drama High. A far cry from her most recent Broadway roles in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and the stage version of The Graduate, Turner is now playing a nun in High.

Summary: A nun with a past (Kathleen Turner) counsels a teenage drug addict and finds her fragile faith is tested by the experience.

Age: Recommended for ages 17+. Contains adult content and full male nudity. A parent or guardian will be required to accompany audience members under 14.
Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre.

Our Recommendation: Matthew Lombardo's intimate drama offers an honest and painful look at what addiction can do to its victims, both those who survive and those who don't. Although Evan Jonigkeit sometimes displays too much affectation in his portrayal of an abused and drug-addicted teen, overall he offers a sensitive performance that makes you alternately hate and pity his damaged character.
