Motown on Broadway - scene 2
  What Is MOTOWN Like?
The show contains over 50 songs, many of which are not sung in their entirety but nonetheless will entertain and amuse due to their familiarity and upbeat tempos.  The musical is based on the autobiography of Berry Gordy, entitled To Be Loved: The Music, the Magic, the Memories of Motown.  Gordy went on to found the Motown record label, and this musical therefore incorporates many beloved musical artists and the songs that made them famous.  The score brings the audience to their feet with the rip-roaring excitement of a timeless era.  The live orchestra and marvelous dancing are Broadway at its best.
Is MOTOWN Good for Kids?

Motown is great entertainment for the entire family.  The show does contain sexual content, references to violence, and a small number of curse words, so parents should use discretion.  However, children will love the music and the dancing, as well as the moving story.
