The Colbert Report is scheduled to be broadcast on Comedy Central at 11:30pm Monday-Friday directly following The Daily Show.
The Colbert Report is a brand new, faux news program a-la the very popular Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Stephen Colbert is taking his news correspondent job to the next level by hosting his own half-hour show. While the plan for Colbert's show is to have its own spin and its own edge, the correspondent role is that which he created on The Daily Show. The format (though still in the making) is looking to be Colbert's views on current news events, plus interviews with those making the headlines.
