106 & Park TV Show

106 & Park: BET's Top Ten Live is a video countdown show that airs each weekday on the Black Entertainment Television network. The show features the top ten hip hop and R&B videos of the day, as voted for by the viewers via phone and internet.

In addition to showing videos, the 90-minute program also includes live music performances and interviews with a variety of artists, actors, and other stars. The show has special segments that feature both brand new videos and popular old videos. On Fridays, there is a lively freestyle competition that pits two rappers against each other in the studio and in front of a panel of celebrity and hip hop industry judges.

106 & Park has been on the air since 2000 and is one of BET's highest-rated shows. It was named for its original location in East Harlem, but the show has since been re-located to the CBS Broadcast Center in Midtown. Hosts of 106 & Park have included AJ Calloway and Free, Big Tigger and Julissa Bermudez, and Rocsi and Terrence J.
