Should You See The JOHN OLIVER on The Last Week Tonight TV Show?

Last Week Tonight With John Oliver
What Is Last Week Tonight with John Oliver TV Show Like?
HBO's answer to Comedy Central's The Daily Show with John Stewart, is Last Week Tonight With John Oliver. If it feels quite similar to The Daily Show, it could be because John Oliver was a writer and correspondant on that show, before starting his new show, Last Week Tonight on HBO in 2014. John has accolades for both the TV Emmy's and the Writers Guild.

He first came to prominence as a cutting-edge political stand-up performer in the UK with a string of TV appearances and sold-out solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival. Oliver won the Breakout Award at the Aspen Comedy Festival in 2007 and went on to write and star in the Comedy Central stand-up special 'John Oliver: Terrifying Times,' followed by the series 'John Oliver's New York Stand Up Show,' which he has hosted for four seasons. John Oliver also writes and presents a satirical podcast called The Bugle, which can be found at www./thebuglepodcast.com. He hosts this show with his long-time collaborator Andy Zaltzman. Zaltman is another British comedian, who like Oliver, focuses on political material.
