Hedda Gabler on BroadwayHedda Gabler on Broadway
Roundabout Theatre Company presents a new production of Henrik Ibsen's Hedda Gabler starring Mary-Louise Parker in the title role. The production features a new adaptation by Christopher Shinn and is directed by Ian Rickson. This production marks Tony, Emmy, and Golden Globe-winning actress Mary-Louise Parker's return to Broadway following her 2004 Tony-nominated performance in Craig Lucas' Reckless.

Hedda Gabler is a classic social drama about a caged woman living in the late 19th century as she explores her overwhelming desire for escape and her desperate need for individual freedom. Roundabout has produced a number of Ibsen's plays in the past, including An Enemy of the People, The Master Builder, Little Eyolf, John Gabriel Borkman, and Rosmersholm.
