Best Seats In Radio City
Like most Broadway theaters, the best seats in the somewhat cavernous Radio City Music Hall can be found in the orchestra section. For the annual Radio
City Christmas Spectacular, however, the best seats will differ from the other events that Radio City plays host to during the year.
To complicate the matter further, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular Show contains a mixture of intricate and "localized" scenes combined with many large crowd pleasing elements and events. This means that being closer to the stage may not actually be better. After careful consideration of the 6200 seats at every Radio City show, we have determined that orchestra rows NN to A and seats 301 to 514 are the most optimal for your enjoyment of the Radio City Xmas Spectacular.

If you leave it too late, guess what? All the discount tickets will be sold out for the discounted performances in the orchestra section. This means you will have to either purchase full price tickets in the orchestra or satisfy yourself with lower priced non-orchestra seats in the 1st-3rd mezzanines that are viewed as being sub-par. These tickets can cost as much as $250 or as low as $40 depending on the location. The only way to purchase regular full-price tickets is through TicketMaster or in person at the Radio City box office.

How To Save On The Booking Charge
Ordering tickets over the telephone or on the official Radio City and TicketMaster web site will cost an additional $9.50 (+ tax) purchase fee per ticket. This extra charge adds up to over $37 in booking charges for a family of four.
You can avoid the charges completely by buying your tickets - full price or discounted - at the Radio City box office in New York. Early on in the season the line is pretty short, but as Christmas gets closer, the line can be up to an hour long. Make plans early and know the availability before going.
2007 Xmas Spectacular Notes
This year, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular is celebrating its 75th anniversary, and in honor of that milestone the show will be premiering amazing new scenes, costumes, special effects, and routines performed by the world famous Rockettes. But don't panic - this year's show will still include old favorites like "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" and the majestic "Living Nativity".
The Radio City Christmas show is between 90 and 105 minutes long.
Any child who has reached their second birthday requires a ticket for admission to the Christmas Spectacular. Any child younger than 2 years old does not require a ticket, however they may not occupy a seat and must sit on a parent or guardian's lap.
