Age Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre.
Our Recommendation The 1990 hit film was hardly crying out to be turned into a musical, and the cynical attempt to cash in on the movie's name recognition is a bit irritating. Not to mention the constant use of screens and video footage, making it seem like this show was meant to be theater for people who don't actually like theater. However, that doesn't change the fact that Ghost the Musical features some truly stunning stage effects (created by Paul Kieve) that are nearly worth the ticket price alone. Director Matthew Warchus also does a nice job of keeping the show moving at a good pace, and the contemporary pop-rock score (punctuated by the obligatory gospel numbers for the African-American cast members) features a few solid numbers.
