Our Recommendation
This powerful production serves as an excellent reminder of why this Arthur Miller play is a classic of the American stage. Though he is technically too young for the part of fading 60-year old salesman Willy Loman, Philip Seymour Hoffman still delivers an indelible and heartbreaking performance as a man whose desire to attain the so-called American Dream of status and wealth has left both he and his sons (impressively played by Andrew Garfield and Finn Wittrock) perpetually dissatisifed.
