Summary When a corrupt businessman has his "dumb blonde" girlfriend tutored by a Washington journalist, he gets a lot more than he bargained for.

Age
May be inappropriate for 10 and under. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre.

Our Recommendation
Jim Belushi is fantastic as an ignorant bully of a businessman, and even better is the hilarious and endearing Nina Arianda as the dumb blonde girlfriend who he loves but doesn't respect. Robert Sean Leonard (a Broadway regular better known for playing Wilson on TV's House) has the play's blandest role, that of the do-gooder journalist who unlocks the blonde's intellectual potential. Garson Kanin's 1946 classic is wonderful in its portrayal of a woman who goes from stupid to savvy, but some of its political commentary -- though as relevant today as ever -- might not be as effective for modern-day audiences trained to be skeptical of all political idealism.
