Summary Sutton Foster stars in this revival of the Cole Porter classic about a cruise ship and the hijinks of its passengers, among them a nightclub singer, a gangster in disguise, stowaways, and other colorful characters.

Our Recommendation Directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, this smashing production features some of the most spectacular dancing in town, not to mention memorable tunes like "I Get a Kick Out of You," "Blow, Gabriel, Blow," and the infectious title song. Though it was written and is set in the 1930s, Anything Goes holds up surprisingly well. It's full of laughs and an entertaining -- if silly -- story that includes plenty of romantic shenanigans and goofy gangsterism.
