Roundabout Theatre Company brings the rocking and rollicking musical comedy classic Bye Bye Birdie back to Broadway in a production starring John Stamos (Full House, Cabaret on Broadway), Gina Gershon (Broadway revival of Boeing Boeing), Bill Irwin (recently in Roundabout's Waiting For Godot), and Jayne Houdyshell (Wicked). Robert Longbottom serves as director and choreographer. Bye Bye Birdie will be the first production at the newly renovated Henry Miller's Theatre (located in the new Bank of America tower), which has 1,055 seats and is the first fully "green" theater in New York City.

Show Synopsis:
The Tony Award winning musical Bye Bye Birdie, set in 1960, is about an Elvis-like rocker named Conrad Birdie, who has been drafted into the army. Birdie's manager Albert and Rosie, Albert's secretary, have come up with a plan that will send Conrad off with a great new song and a kiss from a fan (broadcast live on the Ed Sullivan Show!).
