Our Broadway map shows the locations of all the Broadway theaters in the Times Square area of New York City. Just look at the list of theaters on the right for the name of the Broadway theater that you need to find, note the number next to the theater name, and then look at the Broadway map on the left and find the number in order to see what street the theater is located on. With the exception of one theater (the Vivian Beaumont at Lincoln Center in the West 60s), all of the New York City theaters designated as "Broadway Theaters" are located in the Times Square theater district.

The New York Broadway theater district goes from West 41st street up to West 54th Street, running between 6th Avenue and 9th Avenue. Very few Broadway theaters are actually located on Broadway - most of the theaters are on side streets to the left and right of Broadway. These theaters have earned the designation of "Broadway Theater" because they regularly produce legitimate theater and because they meet the size requirements necessary to be considered a Broadway theater (seating capacity of 500 seats or more).
