Broadway Tickets Delivery Options - Telecharge and Ticketmaster
How you receive your physical Broadway tickets often depends on the ticket source.

Broadway TicketsWhere Broadway Tickets Are Sold
There are only two official ticket outlets that are approved to sell face value Broadway Tickets, they are:

  • THEATRE BOX OFFICE Each Broadway theater has its own box office, so you can buy a ticket in person for the Broadway show currently playing (or soon to open) at that particular theater during its normal business hours. Buying Broadway tickets directly at the theater box office is advantageous because then you don't have to pay any of the handling or convenience charges that Ticketmaster and Telecharge will add to your Broadway tickets bill.
  • TICKETMASTER or TELECHARGE. Ticketmaster, which sells maybe 30% of all Broadway tickets, is the well-known ticketing giant that people use all over the country for concerts and sporting events. But in New York, Broadway tickets are one of Ticketmaster's most important products. Telecharge, which is smaller and more uniquely theater-oriented, handles the majority of Broadway tickets, though. The Roundabout Theatre Company is the exception - it does its own ticketing for Roundabout Broadway shows (which play at the American Airlines Theatre, Studio 54, and Henry Miller's Theatre).

Box Office Ticket Delivery
Obviously, the box office is the the cheapest (as it has no fees) and is the most reliable way of receiving your Broadway tickets as you can complete the transaction for your Broadway tickets at the box office and receive a physical ticket there and then.
