Kristin Chenoweth: My Love Letter To Broadway Tickets
Kristin Chenoweth: My Love Letter To Broadway for 12 Performances ONLY
Show Summary - My Love Letter to Broadway
For a strictly limited engagement from November 2 to 13, 2016, three-time Tony Award nominee and one-time Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth is back on Broadway for an exclusive concert event. This will be the first time that Chenoweth will have brought her own one-woman concert to Broadway, after many years of making a name for herself in the domain. My Love Letter to Broadway is a concert at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, in which the spunky comedienne will perform a variety of songs – ranging from musical theatre favorites to new songs from her upcoming album, The Art of Elegance. This upcoming album is a slight diversion of genre for Chenoweth, as it is her first album of classics from the American Songbook. Kristin Chenoweth first appeared on Broadway in the 1997 production of Steel Pier, and she came to prominence after the 1999 production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, for which she earned a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance as Sally. Her fame reached new heights when she originated the role of Glinda in Wicked, which began in 2003. Starring opposite Idina Menzel as Elphaba, Chenoweth was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical, but lost to Menzel. More recently, Chenoweth appeared onstage in On the Twentieth Century opposite Peter Gallagher, for which she also earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical.
