South Pacific Broadway ShowShow Summary
Set during World War II, this classic Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein musical is about a United States Navy nurse named Nellie, who finds love with a handsome French plantation owner while stationed out on an island in the South Pacific.

Broadway Review
A glorious production that truly does justice to one of the finest musicals of the Golden Age of Broadway, Lincoln Center Theatre's South Pacific deals with themes such as love, war, loyalty, and intolerance - and it does so with great memorable songs like "Some Enchanted Evening," "Younger Than Springtime," and "There's Nothing Like a Dame".
