Farnsworth Says Goodbye To Broadway

Aaron Sorkin's engaging drama The Farnsworth Invention, starring Hank Azaria and Jimmi Simpson, ended its Broadway run today. The play had a total of 34 preview performances and 104 regular Broadway performances at the Music Box Theatre.

Farnsworth To Close On Broadway March 2nd

The Farnsworth Invention, the new play by Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip), will have its final Broadway performance on Sunday, March 2. Starring Hank Azaria and Jimmi Simpson, Farnsworth dramatizes the race to invent and patent television.

Farnsworth Finally Gets Its Broadway Opening

The Farnsworth Invention opens on Broadway tonight at the Music Box Theatre. The Aaron Sorkin drama was originally scheduled to have its official opening on November 14, but was delayed due to the Broadway stagehands strike which began on the 10th. Farnsworth stars Hank Azaria and Jimmi Simpson as two men battling for the patent on that extraordinary invention known as the television.
